I went to a training session organised by Heritage Lottery Fund in their offices near Sloane Square. It was for organisations like CAIA, which won funding for various projects and it was very exciting to meet everyone and learn about their projects. There were a few other organisations running projects relating WW1 (about Indian Soldiers in WW1, recording the memories of Camden residents about WW1, and stories from the supply chain to WW1). I also met people involved in a fascinating project called Tea about tea-drinking traditions, an attempt to revive Jazz archives from 1960s London clubs,

I also met people involved in a fascinating project called Tea about tea-drinking traditions, an attempt to revive Jazz archives from 1960s London clubs, creation of a smartphone app which will guide through the Kensal Green cemetery, etc.

Also, it was good to learn how HLF monitors and supports the projects they fund.
